STIGA Pro Carbon Table Tennis Racket

The STIGA Pro Carbon Table Tennis Racket is yet another great product from the popular Swedish STIGA table tennis gear provider.

Since 1944 they have produced the classic good quality racket/paddles with the right type of wood and advanced design of hard surface, resulting in more speed for the paddle. One of the world leading companies when it comes to producing this type of gear. Their technology and products are widely in use by professional sports players and at contests.

STIGA Pro Carbon Table Tennis Racket

The STIGA Pro Carbon ping pong paddle’s blade technology can give a stunning power stroke – a very good racket for forehand strokes because of the carbon blade surface. As a material of the 2 layers of this relatively light blade, carbon can’t be easily damaged and it has the rigid structure which gives it a lot of spin to the ball.

This is a racket mainly for those who want to advance to the better level of table tennis playing and to get some experience. Because the control is good, but the main things are the excellent speed and power of this type of racket. It is more for the indoor type of table tennis and for players who prefer to play further back from the table. Read on for my full review:

Benefits of STIGA Pro Carbon Table Tennis Racket

STIGA Pro Carbon Table Tennis Racket has a number of unique and significant features that make it a high quality if not an exceptional table tennis racket. These include:

Performance-Level Table Tennis Racket

It feels great to hold this racket in hand and to play with harder swings and strokes. Making finesse shots is harder with this one, but that is why I recommend it to those who want to improve the quality of their playing. For example improving the counter topspin rallies and shots which are closer to the table.

ITTF Approved Rubber for Tournament Play

International Table Tennis Association has an overall positive attitude about this piece of work. It has the cutting-edge in the practical use on many tournaments and it is already mentioned that it is made from high-quality materials. In some circles of table tennis players, it is a favorite and prized brand.

Features Carbon Technology for Power and Speed

Advanced technology is on the blade; this hardens the surface made from carbon crystal structure resulting in more speed for the paddle. Air capsules are given it crystal carbon type technology on it; this hardens the surface resulting in more speed for the paddle and a wider area to generate a spin and powerful shots. Maximum elasticity and pretty good control are due to the air capsules in the rubber.

Performance Ratings – Speed: 99 Spin: 100 Control: 80.

When it comes to spin the carbon layer is one of the best choices, if not the best choice for some players. This racket is among the best when it comes to speed and spin. Control is good enough, it is not on the perfect level of these previous two traits.

7-Ply Extra Light Blade, S5 Rubber, and 2mm Sponge.

The main thing on it is the Stiga S5 type of rubber with a thick layer of 2.0mm sponge for extra speed and power. The softer sponge can be a problematic thing according to some critics when it comes to blocking move but I don’t count its characteristics as a setback.

3.5 Lightweight to Medium.

Weight is for some tastes light and for other medium and it means that this is a good racket for various training practices. Because of this trait, highly recommend it to those who want to advance to more professional and harder levels of playing.

Drawbacks of the STIGA Pro Carbon Table Tennis Racket

The only significant drawback is that the handle is not the better part of the racket, it is made from the concave WRB pro. Stiga would have sanded down the edges on the handle a bit but aside from that it is not a major problem. Maybe the rookies will not like it but that alone is certainly not the game changer.

Well, some would argue that definitely flicks and short play are not on the satisfying level. And others will mention an event that control is lacking, other that paddles may offer better speed. I think that is the matter of personal taste and level of playing and not the real trouble with the STIGA Pro Carbon Racket.

What is Frequently Bought Together With STIGA Pro Carbon Table Tennis Racket

STIGA Table Tennis Racket Cover New Free Shipping. This cover is more often bought with this table tennis racket than not. And it fits just fine with this table tennis racket. The price is cheap. This is the piece of equipment you really need because the racket fits in without problems and it is resistant outside when problematic weather comes.

STIGA Evolution Table Tennis Racket. The most often bought racket with STIGA Pro Carbon is this racket more suited for rookies and younger players. The price of this one is almost the same as the price of STIGA Pro Carbon Racket and quality is similar. The difference is in the design of surface but I will not put this racket behind in quality. It is useful to buy these rackets together.

Customers Who Bought This Item Also Bought:

Socko Table Tennis Bag 8202. This bag is an often needed bag and it is up to your choice to buy it or not but if you travel a lot I warmly recommend it because it is not clumsy to wear and has enough of space for basic table tennis gear. This bag has a practical use and it is weatherproof.

Final Takeaway

Stiga has the technology listed on the top with this type of sports equipment. Off the table, you had to put a little bit of extra power to make it over and the STIGA brand tennis racket makes your stroke far more strong and precise. Hardened carbon surface resulting in more speed for the paddle but it is also flexible enough. The racket in the hand of the experienced player feels good but it is not for neglect when it is used by those less skilled and passionate about table tennis.
